AERO Friedrichshafen is Europe's largest and most important trade show for General Aviation. Launched in 1977, the trade show has taken place in Friedrichshafen on the shores of Lake Constance since then.
Every year, more than 700 exhibitors from 35 countries occupy more than 80,000 m² of exhibition space to present their latest products and services including numerous premieres. AERO showcases the full spectrum of General Aviation. More than 200 aircraft will be presented along with engines, propellers, avionics equipment, pilot supplies and accessories, as well as maintenance and numerous other services.

  • Basically, visitors to AERO are people who are involved in one way or another in General Aviation. Over 70% attend because of private interest (BtoC), nearly 30% have a BtoB background. More than 60% of all attendees are active pilots, aircraft operators or members of a flying club who want to get informed about the latest industry trends. AERO is also a show for visitors from support sectors such as avionics, maintenance and related services. The trade show is an established presentation platform for manufacturers and suppliers. All those looking for a career in the General Aviation sector will be provided with valuable information at AERO Friedrichshafen. Last but not least, AERO is also a place to be for our young visitors and future pilots. The Aeromodelling section at AERO Friedrichshafen is a first information platform for the next generation of pilots.

With more than 200 aircraft on display, AERO showcases the entire spectrum of the latest gliders, Drones, electric aircraft, eVTOLs, ultralights, planes, helicopters, gyrocopters, turboprops and business jets. Visitors to the show can experience the fascinating world of aviation up close.
