By car to Friedrichshafen

Due to construction work on the A96 in both directions between the border crossing at Lindau and the Weißensberg interchange, and furthermore on the B31 near Eriskirch, traffic congestion is expected in these areas. We therefore recommend that visitors arriving from the north exit at the Wangen West interchange, take the B32 to Ravensburg, and then continue on the B30 on to Friedrichshafen. They should return home along this same route. In general, signposted secondary roads leading to Messe Friedrichshafen are a good alternative to avoid congestion.

• from Zürich 
  N7 to Kreuzlingen/Konstanz (Constance). From there via shuttle ferry Konstanz - Meersburg (nonstop rapid transit) and then via B31 to Friedrichshafen. Current information about ferry Konstanz - Meersburg on the website:

• from St. Gallen / Romanshorn 
  N1 to Romanshorn. From there via shuttle ferry Romanshorn-Friedrichshafen (hourly departures). Current information about ferry Romanshorn - Friedrichshafen on the website: www.sbsag.ch or www.bsb-online.com. 
  Service tip: We recommend leaving your vehicle in Switzerland, transferring to the ferry and using the BSB-Combination ticket. The advantage: no traffic on the ferry or in Friedrichshafen, no searching for parking, no waiting at the ticket counter (not available for every exhibition).

In Friedrichshafen simply follow the signs "Messe".
